Existing Equipment

You may keep your existing monitors for the cost of $1.00 to use with BART Online. If you have an existing Lenovo or IBM PC (only those models running Windows) provided by Budget Truck Rental, you will have an opportunity to purchase this computer for just $100. The computer will be sold to you, as is, without a warranty. For system compatibility and security, the computer will require re-imaging. Budget Truck Rental will send you a re-imaging package, which includes multiple disks, a new RAM memory card that you will need to install, and detailed instructions. You must still purchase and install the required anti-virus software, as Budget Truck Rental will not provide this software.

If you do not wish to purchase your existing PC and monitor, you must notify Budget Truck Rental at least 30 days prior to your conversion date by emailing us at new.pos@avisbudget.com or by calling the Help Desk at 888-HELP-265. Upon notification, we will make arrangements for PC and monitor return and disposal. (Please note: In compliance with EPA regulations and to protect the privacy of customer information, old BART computers and monitors, that you are not purchasing, must be returned to Budget Truck Rental for proper disposal.) Cartons and packing materials will be sent to your location with shipping instructions for returning the equipment. All shipping charges will be paid by Budget Truck Rental.

If you do not notify us, we will assume you are purchasing the equipment and will automatically deduct the $100 PC and $1 monitor purchases from your commission.
